Private piano lessons, aural training and music theory tuition for all ages and abilities.
Jenny has been teaching piano since 1997. She follows the ABRSM syllabus and enters pupils for exams in piano and theory (if they choose to follow that path) up to Grade 8. She also teaches the ABRSM Jazz piano syllabus up to Grade 5. Jenny supports the Duke of Edinburgh award system and is happy to provide an assessor's report for piano playing as a skill.
She can provide support for G.C.S.E and A'level Music students with the performance or composition elements of their exams as part of their piano lesson, or in a separate lesson.
Adult pupils are very welcome and will find Jenny patient and encouraging. Many of her current pupils are parents whose children she taught previously. Her favourite expression is, "it's never too late to learn!".

Jenny is an ABRSM Theory Examiner and teaches Theory Grades 1 - 8. She is a member of the Independent Society of Musicians (ISM), and has a current DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
